ANNOUNCEMENT

After 7 seasons with the Bandits football team, I have decided to step aside for a year and let Coach Nigel take over the team. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through the years and to all the boys who have been a Bandit over the past 7 seasons. It has been a pleasure coaching you all. Have a great rest of the Summer, and I hope to see you all around the field next season.

BANDITS TIE IN SEASON FINALE

Aaron forced a fumble on the one yard line and recovered the ball to prevent the Desperados from scoring to keep the game tied late in the first half. With lightening and thunder rumbling all around the field, the decision was agreed upon to call the game at half time for the safety of the players. The game ended in a scoreless tie but was a moral victory for the Bandits who finish the regular season with a record of 3 wins, 5 losses and 2 ties. High marks also go to Chilli, Talk-a-lot, Cameron M for extra hustle on the 110 yard touchdown run by the Desperados big running back which was called back for an illegal block in the back. Great pursuit....Keep up the good work! ALL OF YOU!!!

Saturday- Championship Day...

There is absolutely NO PARKING on the upper lot at Westside during games-This lot is vacant for vehicles transporting feild equipment, Coaches and EMERGENCY VEHICLE access ONLY...

Schedule

Please note the game schedule is posted on the left hand side of the blog above the Bandits logo...as previously stated, all games will be played at Westside SS @ 6:45pm.

Also note that I have included the volunteer for stick crew list beside the game date-this will remind you to come to the field prepared to watch from a different vantage point.

Hydration reminder--as the weather changes and things heat up, be sure your player has enough fluid to sustain himself through practice/game. We will always have water bottles available, but electrolyte replacement is crucial for energy-so try and add some gatorade or powerade whenever you can!!
